I locked mom out of the house yesterday. She thinks she can outsmart me by going out the patio door instead of the front door or the garage door (both of which I can open), but she sure was surprised when she found herself locked out! Not only that but I had run off so she couldn't even see me. She yelled my name and I came back to laugh at her stuck outside. She hung out there for a little while until I decided to unlock the door. She was lucky this time.

Mommy was on the phone and I was quietly coloring. She went into the kitchen and I decided this was a good time to taste test these markers. They aren't as tasty as you'd think. I came around the corner saying "oh oh" with the tip of the marker that I bit off in one hand and the rest of the marker in the other. That will teach her to talk so much on the phone with grandma!!

The babysitter said I was the aggressor, but I think you can tell from the photo that this little girl was leaning in!

This is basically how things go around here. Mommy asks me a question, if I don't want to answer it I either ignore her or change the subject. Notice at the end, when asked to do three things in a row I comply.

Mommy and I have had a very busy new year so far. She is on a mission to get organized around here. I'm trying to help her, but she keeps asking me not to?! We started Gymboree last week. A friend invited us, and I had such a good time mommy signed me up. The first class was only 4 kids. The next class was about 15 plus their parents. I was a little overwhelmed by this...

New Year resolutions

1. consuming reduced fat milk products

2. learning my balance bike with daddy next month when he gets home

3. going on the potty (mommy is much more excited about this one than me, but I do like to pretend to go. It's fun to make her help me get my pants off and my diaper, sit on my potty and then just smile)

4. Listen to mommy 10% of the time (right now we're at maybe 1%)
