Mommy wishes I had a better idea about this potty, but I still think it's a toy. Today she found me trying to get inside of it. She tried one day to get me to use it about 4 times before she finally gave up and just let me do my thing in my diaper at the end of the day!

I wasn't using my step stool for it's intended use, so mommy moved it over to the window to see if I'd figure it out. She moved it while I was napping. I found it pretty much right away and figured out what to do with it on my own. To her surprise I also got down without any help too.

Sometimes I REALLY look like my daddy, and this photo captures that! p.s. mommy realizes this rash guard is entirely too big, but the 12 month was SO TIGHT she thought I looked a little uncomfortable. Not to mention I hated letting her force it over my head!

Mommy knows she needs to stop worrying about what a mess I'm making and help me learn to feed myself better with a spoon and bowl (or fork and plate). Here I am making a giant mess with cottage cheese.

more books

Mommy's friend is moving and decided some of her kids books could be parted with. She guave me a HUGE bag full of books. Mommy let me tear into them and pull them all out. It was so much fun. Now, the entire lower shelf of the baker's rack has my books stacked up. I love to pull them out one at a time and flip the pages. The photo is of me right after I pulled all the "new" books out.

play date

Today my freind Marcus came over to play. This is the second time he has visited. The first time I wasn't a very good host and had a difficult time sharing my toys or mommy with him. Today I did much better. We played together (mommy had to tell me a few times that I couldn't take toys away from him), we talked to each other, and just had a really great time. Mommy and Marcus' mommy were so pleased.
